Answers to the questions our subscribers ask most.
With digital TV, picture and sound are converted to digital form, encoded and broadcast over the air. This reduces interference and delivers higher resolution and a sharper picture than analogue broadcasting.
You need a DVB-T2 antenna and a set-top box (STB) or a CAM module from Mavji Somon. The equipment is provided at connection time and is also available from certified dealers.
A CAM (Conditional Access Module) is a device inserted into your TV's Common Interface slot. It holds an access card that unlocks encrypted channels — no set-top box required.
Yes. Your TV is suitable for receiving Mavji Somon digital TV. To decode the signal you only need a CAM module with an access card — no set-top box.
You can pay via the Alif Mobi, Dushanbe City, Humo and Shukr Moliya mobile apps, through Express Pay terminals, or at the nearest Mavji Somon office. If the service was blocked due to debt, it is restored within 10 minutes after payment.
Check in order:
that the set-top box cables are connected correctly;
the TV input mode (AV for RCA cable, HDMI for HDMI cable);
that the antenna cable is intact and connected;
restart the box by unplugging it for more than one minute.
If the problem persists — call our contact centre at 3838.
Broadcasting runs on next-generation transmitters with a very strong signal. Heavy snow and rain do not affect the quality of the received signal.
A second TV requires an additional set-top box. Ask your dealer or call 3838 for details.
Visit a Mavji Somon store within 14 days with your passport and payment receipt and file a request to refund or transfer the funds. If the receipt shows a wrong recipient — contact the place where you paid.
Be ready to provide:
your contract number (personal account) or smart-card number / chip-ID;
whose name the contract is registered under;
the error number and how often the problem occurs;
what steps you have already tried.
